Dr. Ola Ghassan Ammar is a Specialist Anesthesiologist at Wellness One Day Surgery Center. She earned her Master’s degree in Anesthesia, Resuscitation, and Pain Management from Damascus University, Syria, in 2016 and obtained the Syrian Board Certificate in Anesthesiology and Pain Relief in 2017. Dr. Ammar completed her Bachelor of Medicine degree at Damascus University in 2011 and is licensed by the Department of Health (DoH) in Abu Dhabi.
With over 13 years of clinical experience, Dr. Ammar has worked in leading healthcare institutions across the UAE and Syria, including American Hospital Dubai, Modern Medical Hospital, The Hope Medical Center, and Al-Shuhadaa Zaid Al-Shriti Hospital. She has extensive experience providing anesthesia for a broad range of surgical specialties, including cardiothoracic, neurosurgery, plastic surgery, vascular, urology, obstetrics and gynecology, trauma, and general surgery. In addition to her clinical practice, she has held leadership positions as Head of Operations and has been actively involved in medical education, supervising medical students and anesthesia residents.
Dr. Ammar specializes in general and regional anesthesia, perioperative care, and intensive care management. Her expertise includes anesthesia for high-risk surgical procedures, cardiac surgery, pain management, and critical care.
