- Head and Neck Surgery
- Laryngeal Surgery
Adenoidectomy, tonsillectomy, grommets or other nasal surgery may often be combined as needed according to your needs and ear or nasal condition.
Adenoidectomy – In the case of enlarged adenoids that block openings to drainage tubes from the ears, ear infection and hearing loss can occur. The Adenoidectomy is performed in such cases under general anesthesia and recovery is usually a day.
Tonsillectomy – The procedure is performed on those suffering from tonsillitis – a condition where the tonsils get large enough, blocking the throat and cause difficulty with eating, breathing, and sleeping.
Grommet Insertion – Grommets help ventilate middle ear. Grommets are placed in those having recurring ear infections, hearing loss, or both. This procedure is common in children due to under-developed middle ear drainage tubes and helps relieve pain, ear infections, and treat hearing loss.
