Shwetha Sekharan

Shwetha Sekharan is a Physiotherapist at Wellness One Day Surgery Center. She earned her Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) degree from Srinivas College of Physiotherapy and Research Center, Mangalore, India, affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, in 2017. She is licensed by the Department of Health (DoH) in Abu Dhabi.  

Bringing over seven years of clinical experience, Ms. Sekharan began her career at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Center in Kochi, India, where she treated a diverse range of pre- and post-surgical cases. In 2024, she relocated to the UAE and served at Life Care Medical Center in Al Ain. Her focus remains on evidence-based rehabilitation, hands-on therapy, and patient-centered care. She is skilled in clinical assessments, goal setting, and designing individualized treatment protocols and possesses a strong foundation in musculoskeletal and neurological rehabilitation. Her techniques include exercise therapy, joint mobilization, myofascial release, and electrotherapy, aiming to reduce pain, restore function, and improve mobility. Ms. Sekharan is keen on enabling patients through education, movement, and functional recovery. Her approach is to ensure that each treatment journey is tailored to the end goal for early recovery and improved quality of life.
