Dr. Wujood Alfalasi is a Specialist Orthodontist with advanced postgraduate training in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. She earned her Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) and Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS) in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from the Boston University Institute for Dental Research and Education, Boston–Dubai, in 2012. Dr. Alfalasi completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at Ajman University of Science and Technology, Ajman, UAE, in 2007.
With more than 15 years of clinical experience, Dr. Alfalasi has practiced orthodontics in several leading public and private healthcare institutions across the UAE. Her professional experience includes specialist roles at Burjeel Medical City, Zayed Military Hospital, Dentamed Clinic, Mezyad Medical Center, and the International Center for Dental Excellence (ICDE). She has extensive experience managing complex orthodontic cases and works closely with maxillofacial surgeons in multidisciplinary orthognathic surgery treatments. She has also contributed to the professional development of junior clinicians and dental interns.
Dr. Alfalasi specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of orthodontic malocclusions in children, adolescents, and adults. Her expertise includes fixed orthodontic appliances, functional appliances, Invisalign, and other clear aligner systems. She has a particular focus on complex orthodontic cases, including orthognathic surgical cases and multidisciplinary treatment planning to achieve optimal functional and aesthetic outcomes.
