Dr. Ashraf Alassi is Specialist Otolaryngologist joining Wellness One Day Surgical Center from SEHA. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery in 2003 from the University of Aleppo, Syria. He went on to specialize in Otolaryngology University of Aleppo, Syria in 2008. He was awarded fellowship of the European Board of Otorhinolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery in 2015, while certifying with the Syrian board of Otolaryngology in 2016.
Dr. Alassi has over thirteen years of experience in the field of ORL in the Middle East. Moving to Abu Dhabi in 2014, Dr. Alassi was appointed at SEHA – Al Bahia Healthcare Center & Al Rahba Hospital as Specialist Otolaryngologist for over seven years. Dr. Alassi has extensive experience in management and treatment of ENT cases in adults and pediatric populations including hearing and balance disorders, ear infections, sinus disorders, throat and larynx disorders, snoring and sleep apnea, ear infections. He is skilled at surgical intervention including myringotomy with ventilation tube insertion & tympanoplasty, sinus surgeries with a special interest in endoscopy (FESS), septoplasty and turbinate surgery, throat surgery – tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, and other general ENT cases and surgeries. He is keen on the latest knowledge in the field of ORL and regularly attends hands-on workshops, courses and conferences within the MENA region.
