Dr. Zainab Hamid is General Practitioner at Wellness One Day Surgery Center. She completed her
medical undergrad degree in 2013 from the International University of Africa, Sudan. Since 2017, she
has pursued specialization in general surgery from Sudan Medical Specialization Board (SMSB).
Additionally, she holds post-graduation in human morphology and research methodology. She is a
licensed GP with DoH, Abu Dhabi and the Sudanese Medical Council.
Dr. Hamid worked in Abu Dhabi and Sudan since her medical graduation. With a significant part of
her career in Sudan, she worked at a prominent teaching hospital in Sudan for two years until 2021
Ibrahim Malek Teaching Hospital, under Sudan’s Ministry of Health. She was hands-on in treating all
types of emergencies including critically ill patients and major trauma. Before joining Wellness One
Day Surgery Center in 2023, she worked for a year at Al Reem Health Group as General Practitioner.
Dr. Hamid has broad interest in plastic surgery, medical simulations, teaching, research, as well as
accident and emergency.
